Theoben are the makers of the highest powered break action air rifle called the Eliminator (Beeman Crow Magnum in USA). Eliminator/Crow Magnum uses our patented 'H.E.' Gas Spring for power and can deliver a consist 32ft/lbs in .25 calibre. The Fenman and Sirocco 2000 are fitted with the H.E. system to ensure a consistent 12ft/lbs. This H.E. power source needs no maintenance and is always ready for instant use. The SLR 88 was the first multi shot rifle to use the patented rotory magazine system still used in the all of the Rapid range and also in the new and improved SLR 98. The SLR 98 is also fitted with the H.E. system available in 12 or 18ft/lbs FAC version. Leaders in Pre-Charged Pneumatic technology. We introduced the Rapid 7 in 1990 and ten years later we launched the Rapid MkII fitted with a shot regulator and many other new features. Still using a proven multi-shot magazine (7, 12 or 17 depending on calibre). The shot to shot consistancy has greatly improved and so too has the shots per charged compared to the Rapid MkI - 50% to 150% more. Power can be increased to UK legal limit or firearms power giving 2 - 3 times the British legal limit on all of the Rapid Range. In 1990 Weihrauch started manufacture of the HW90 fitted with our patented gas spring technology. Our patented gas strut design can be bought as a DIY kit to convert some BSA, Webley, Air Arms, Weihrauch and Beeman rifles. We used German made Anschütz barrels, the best in the world. We have CNC lathes and mills of the latest technology. Extensive welding techniques given Theoben an unrivalled edge in metal joining.
